Brittany Tracey Registered Psychotherapist (RP)
Hi, I’m Brittany, a Registered Psychotherapist dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can feel truly seen, heard, and valued. I believe that every person has a unique story worth sharing, and I’m passionate about fostering a compassionate environment where your story can unfold at its own pace—free from judgment or pressure.
I believe true healing grows from a foundation of trust, respect, and genuine human connection. I am committed to walking alongside as you navigate your path toward wellness and personal growth.
Education I began my academic journey with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Honours Program, from Trent University and then went on to earn my Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
My Approach With a special focus on trauma and PTSD, I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to help clients process and heal from painful or overwhelming memories. EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based method that promotes deep emotional healing and resolution. I also specialize in anger management, guiding clients toward healthier ways to understand, express, and regulate their emotions. Beyond trauma, I support individuals facing a broad range of concerns—including anxiety, grief (including the profound loss of a pet), self-esteem challenges, stress management, relationship difficulties, depression, and mood disorders. My goal is to tailor therapy to your unique needs by drawing on a diverse range of evidence-based approaches that help you build resilience, insight, and practical coping skills.
What I Offer
Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by painful memories or trapped by anger that impacts every part of their lives. Whether your emotions feel intense, confusing, or difficult to manage, I offer a compassionate, safe, and non-judgmental space where your experiences are validated, and your inner strengths are recognized. Healing requires courage, and I am here to support you with empathy and respect every step of the way. Together, we will gently explore your experiences and emotions at a pace that honors your comfort and readiness. My role is to empower you with the tools and confidence to face life’s challenges and move forward with greater clarity and resilience. The strength you need is already within you—I’m truly honoured to help you reconnect with it.
